Use of this site

By using Eat Mac & Cheese, you agree to use the site lawfully and respectfully. You may not misuse the service, attempt to disrupt site operations, or submit harmful, misleading, or infringing content.

Who can use the site

Anyone may browse Eat Mac & Cheese to find kid-friendly restaurants. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account, submit reviews, upload photos, or submit new restaurants. If you are under 18, please use the site with a parent or guardian.

User content & photos

When you upload photos, write reviews, or submit restaurant information (“User Content”), you keep ownership. By submitting User Content, you grant Eat Mac & Cheese a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, display, resize, modify, and distribute your User Content as part of the Service. You can remove your content at any time.

You promise that: (a) you have the right to share what you upload, (b) you have permission from any identifiable people shown in your photos (including children other than your own), and (c) your content does not infringe anyone’s copyright, trademark, privacy, or other rights.

Please focus your photos on food, atmosphere, and amenities. Avoid uploading photos that clearly identify other people’s children. Do not upload anything you wouldn’t want shared publicly.

Acceptable use

You may not scrape, crawl, or use automated tools to extract data from Eat Mac & Cheese, nor use the Service to build a competing dataset. You may not bypass rate limits, reverse-engineer the Service, or interfere with other users’ access. Reasonable hand-curated personal reference (saving a few restaurants for your own use) is fine.

Copyright complaints & takedowns

If you believe content on Eat Mac & Cheese infringes your copyright, email hello@eatmacandcheese.com with: a description of the work, the URL where it appears on our site, your contact information, and a statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is unauthorized. We will review and respond promptly, including removing content where appropriate.

Disclaimers

Restaurant details, menus, hours, and family-friendly information may change over time. We provide content "as is" without warranties of any kind, and we cannot guarantee complete accuracy at all times.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, Eat Mac & Cheese and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the site or reliance on site content.

Your account

You’re responsible for activity on your account and for keeping your sign-in secure. We may suspend or remove accounts that break these terms. You can delete your account at any time by contacting us.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the site grows. If we make material changes, we’ll update the date above. Continuing to use the site after changes means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.
